Before you install
- If Android refuses to install the file, the system is blocking installs from unknown sources. Allow this app in Settings, then choose to install anyway when prompted.
- If you see an "incompatible version" message, the build likely targets an older CPU architecture (ARMv7) that newer phones no longer accept. Look for an ARM64 (ARMv8) build of the same version instead.
Download FAQs
How do longer answers help in Text or Die?
You must create meaningful words while water rises toward your character. Longer valid answers create more distance from the water, giving you a safer position in the round.
What happens in Bonus Word Levels?
Bonus Word Levels add extra word challenges beyond the standard gameplay. They also offer different rewards for players who complete them.
What is Pirate Attack Mode in Text or Die?
Pirate Attack Mode lets you call pirates to create difficulties for other players. It adds a tactical element while players are dealing with word answers and rising water.
What does the Unlocked Items, No ADS mod change?
This modified build is labeled Unlocked Items, No ADS. It provides unlocked items and removes ads, while the core word challenges and game modes remain part of Text or Die.
What Android version is required for Text or Die?
Text or Die requires Android 7.0 or later as a minimum requirement. Make sure your device meets that version requirement before installing the 200.9 MB build.
The download link does not work
Reload this page and start the download again — links are generated per visit and expire. If it still fails, the file may be getting replaced with a newer build; try again shortly.
It says "App not installed"
That usually means a different signature of the same app is already on the device. Uninstall the existing copy first, then install this file. Back up in-app data beforehand, since uninstalling clears it.
