Version 4.0.0 adds a visual change for secondary equipped katanas, which now rest on Takashi’s back. It also adds weapon trails for clearer combat feedback, adjusts attacks so Takashi’s upper body and arms move toward locked-on enemies, and improves enemy shield textures.

Later areas now include double-shield and Iron-shield enemies for more challenging encounters. The update also fixes bugs reported through Discord.
