Galaxiga Mod is an arcade space shooting game that has you pilot a warship through enemy waves across different galaxies. You move within the combat area, avoid incoming attacks, destroy colored enemy ships, and collect dropped technology to build more firepower.

Weapons and Battle Upgrades

Weapon drops are not known in advance, so you need to collect as many useful upgrades as possible during a battle. Some upgrades permanently improve your available shots and remain active until your ship is destroyed. As enemy numbers grow, the firepower found in a single stage may no longer be enough, making pre-battle weapon upgrades important.

You can improve both primary and secondary weapons, choose from many ships with distinct stats, and use an RPG-style progression system as you advance. Legendary warships can defeat enemies more quickly, while companions add supporting fire during combat.

Boss Waves and Ship Abilities

Boss waves place you against enemies with recognizable attack patterns, higher damage, and more attacks than regular spacecraft. Learning their patterns lets you avoid their fire more effectively, but you still need enough power to wear them down.

Each battleship also has a one-time ability shown on the left side of the screen. When activated and aimed, the ship reaches its maximum limit, gains energy wings, and releases a series of attacks against the enemy. Defeating bosses contributes to ship upgrades and introduces bosses with varied designs and abilities.

Online Battles and Co-op

Galaxiga Mod includes PvP battles in 1vs1 and 1vs3 formats, letting you face friends in direct matches. Online co-op lets you play with friends around the world, while global leaderboards give you a place to compare high scores with other players.
