Every potential ally has secrets. You can support the emperor’s exiled heir and encourage revolt, or stand beside another member of the imperial family: a refined politician or a powerful warrior. Alliances with courtiers and rebels affect who survives, who gains influence, and who may eventually take the throne.
Develop Your Assassin
Your choices let you refine a different approach to assassination and intrigue. You can become a silent knife in the dark, a whispering puppeteer, a rune-bolstered warrior, a chameleon spy, or a silver-tongued rogue.

Your actions can leave others as bloodied corpses, mottled creatures, or broken tools, while guiding others toward becoming redeemed paragons, protected consorts, or all-powerful rulers. The central question remains how many people must die to end the immortal empire.
