These are ten modded apps and games that JoJoy readers download most this year, chosen to cover music, video, messaging, music production and a few of the most popular games. Each entry links to its page on JoJoy, where you will find the current version, the file size, the Android version it needs and the full list of changes in that build.

How to read this list: we describe what each build is labeled to change. We do not install every build on a test phone, and a modified app can behave differently from the official one, especially after the original developer ships an update.

Before you install

  • One at a time. Install a single app, check that it works the way you expect, then move on to the next.
  • Keep Play Protect on. Android may warn you about apps from outside Google Play. Read the warning and decide for yourself; do not switch the protection off.
  • Online games carry account risk. Menus that change gameplay in multiplayer games can be caught by the developer's server checks, and whether an account is flagged is up to the developer. Use a spare account if that matters to you.
  • Back up first. Replacing an official app with a modified build usually means uninstalling it first, which can remove local data.

Spotify is a music and podcast app with personalized discovery. The build on JoJoy is labeled Premium Unlocked, Amoled, Final: premium-style playback plus a dark AMOLED theme. Features that depend on Spotify's servers and a paid account, such as offline downloads, may not work in a modified build.

2. TikTok

TikTok is a short-video app with personalized feeds and creation tools. This build is labeled All-Region Unlocked, Premium, Removed ADS: it aims to open content limited by region and to drop ads from the feed. TikTok is an online service, so region and account behavior can still change on TikTok's side.

3. Telegram

Telegram is a messaging app for chats, groups, channels and large file sharing. The build is labeled Premium, Lite, No ADS. Some Premium perks run on Telegram's servers and are tied to a paid account, so check the app page for exactly what this build changes on your phone.

FL STUDIO MOBILE is a music-making app with recording and mixing tools. The build is labeled Free Purchase, meaning in-app purchases are meant to go through without payment. Your projects are stored on the device, so back them up before you update the app.

5. GoodShort – Short Dramas Hub

GoodShort streams original short dramas and movies in short episodes. The build is labeled Premium Unlocked. Episodes come from GoodShort's servers, so what you can watch still depends on the service.

6. Roblox

Roblox is a cross-platform platform of player-made experiences. The build is labeled Mega Menu, Fly, Jump: a menu that changes how your character moves inside experiences. Roblox is fully online and looks for modified clients, so these options can lead to kicks or action against the account. Treat it as something to try on an account you can afford to lose.

7. Stumble Guys

Stumble Guys is a 32-player online obstacle-racing game. The build is labeled Money, Unlocked All, Mega Menu. Every match is played online against other people, so the same caution applies: changes that affect play against others can be detected.

8. eFootball 2026

eFootball 2026 is a football game with team building, PvP and 3v3 play. The build is labeled Menu, Mega Hit, Accuracy Angle Goal. Most of eFootball is played online through Konami's servers, which makes account checks the main thing to weigh before you use the menu.

9. Geometry Dash

Geometry Dash is a fast arcade game about jumping and flying through obstacle levels. The build is labeled Unlimited Money for the in-game shop. The core levels are single-player, which makes it one of the lower-risk picks on this list.

10. Toca Boca World

Toca Boca World is a creative storytelling game with customizable homes and characters. The build is labeled Unlocked All, Speed Game, aimed at opening locations and items that are normally sold separately.

Final thoughts

Every app on this list also exists in an official version, and a modified build is a trade: more features or fewer ads, in exchange for updates that arrive later and more risk in online services.
