Before you install

  1. If Android refuses to install the file, the system is blocking installs from unknown sources. Allow this app in Settings, then choose to install anyway when prompted.
  2. If you see an "incompatible version" message, the build likely targets an older CPU architecture (ARMv7) that newer phones no longer accept. Look for an ARM64 (ARMv8) build of the same version instead.

How does the NFC test work in iTest?

The NFC test checks the functionality of the phone’s NFC reader. You can use an NFC tag or an Android phone for the test.

Does iTest support automatic testing?

iTest includes a semi-auto mode that can trigger a test process and show results when it finishes. You can also select individual hardware components for manual testing.

What Android version is required to install iTest?

iTest requires Android 6.0 or newer. The release notes also mention interface improvements for Android 15 and newer devices.

The download link does not work

Reload this page and start the download again — links are generated per visit and expire. If it still fails, the file may be getting replaced with a newer build; try again shortly.

It says "App not installed"

That usually means a different signature of the same app is already on the device. Uninstall the existing copy first, then install this file. Back up in-app data beforehand, since uninstalling clears it.
